Ukraine's armed forces receive weapons stockpile abandoned by Russian invaders in Kharkiv region

Sappers of the State Special Transport Service in the Kharkiv region discovered a whole arsenal of enemy weapons. A warehouse of ammunition, which the Russians threw away during the retreat, was found in an educational institution in one of the region's settlements.

The State Special Transport Service reported this on Facebook.

It is noted that more than half a thousand explosive items were stored on the territory of the facility.

Sappers inspected one of the educational institutions at the request of residents. During the inspection in the premises of the boiler room, an ammunition depot was discovered, in which the enemy had left 152-mm artillery shells, 100-mm cannon shells, 125-mm tank shells, 120-mm mortars, etc. – a total of more than 500 explosive items.

The sappers sorted the explosive items and handed over the usable items to the Ukrainian army's service members. Damaged ammunition was disposed of in a designated and safe place for people.
