Russian night missile attack on Dnipro suburbs kills two-year-old child, injures 22 civilians
On the night of June 4, the body of a 2-year-old child was found in the rubble of the struck house in Dnipro's outskirts.
The total number of victims of the Russian missile attack increased to 22, including 5 children.
Russian forces launched a ballistic missile in the late evening.
Previously, authorities reported that 6 people were injured, including a child, and that there were people under the rubble of the building.
Later, they emphasized that there are 20 wounded, 17 of them are hospitalized.
Russian missile partially destroyed two two-story buildings, 10 private houses, a car, and a store, and damaged gas pipelines.
In the morning, a body of a little girl was taken out from under the rubble.
"At night, the body of a girl was found under the rubble of a house in the Pidgorodne community. She just turned 2 years old," the statement said.
Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that Russia has once again proved that it was a terrorist country, and Russians must be held accountable for everything they committed against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
On the night of June 4, the Russian army struck Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones. Air defense forces destroyed four X-101/X-555 and three enemy UAVs.
