Mosaїka art-therapy project launched to treat Ukrainian childrens' war traumas

The nükraine non-governmental organization has developed a program of art workshops for children affected by the occupation and the consequences of war.

Young Ukrainian artists and prominent cultural figures, including Anatoliy Sachivko, Anna Buryachkova, Andriy Pokaz, Veronika Dirova, and Mykola Znoba, supported the initiative.

What is the problem?

Due to the full-scale Russian war, thousands of children were under fire, lost their relatives, or were forced to leave their homes. Some of them also had to survive the occupation and violence by the Russian army.

What is the solution?

Nükraine has developed a program of art workshops for children affected by the occupation and the consequences of war.

The project will start in Kyiv in the summer, currently, the team has opened a donation campaign for its implementation.

Mosaïka offers classes of various types to improve the moral condition of children. The program of workshops is designed specifically to restore emotional health and overcome anxiety. Under the guidance of the best Ukrainian artists and professionals, children learn to convey their feelings to the process of creating art.

How does it work?

The program of art therapy and workshops consists of fine art and modeling clay, and in the future,
subjects such as dance, video making, music, and photography will be introduced.
