New Zealand instructors train Ukrainian soldiers for battlefield action in Britain

In Great Britain, military instructors of the New Zealand Defense Forces help Ukrainian recruits master the skills of conducting combat operations on the front line.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

Classes are conducted within the framework of the comprehensive military training of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the direction of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

"As part of a multinational training operation, highly qualified military instructors of the Defense Forces of New Zealand are helping to turn motivated recruits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into combat-ready soldiers, teaching them the skills necessary for survival and effective combat operations on the front lines," the General Staff wrote.

Ukrainian recruits will be instructed on the proper utilization of weaponry, precision shooting, rendering of first aid on the battlefield, and executing offensive and defensive operations in various conditions.

For reference:

On August 15, 2022, the New Zealand government decided to send 120 military instructors to train the Ukrainian military in Great Britain.

In November of the same year, it was announced that 66 more New Zealand Armed Forces servicemen would be sent to Britain to train the Ukrainian military.
