The Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems presented its new MiniShark drone at the Brave1 arms exhibition in Kyiv.

Militarnyi reports, citing the developers, that the MiniShark drone is primarily designed for reconnaissance missions.

The drone can detect ground targets in the interests of Ukraine's artillery, special operations units, and parts of the ground forces. The radius of the MiniShark UAV reaches 35 km.

The developers emphasize that one of the advantages of the new drone is hand-held launch and easy transportation — the entire system fits in two backpacks.

The drone, with a wingspan of 2.6 meters and a length of 125 cm, has a maximum take-off weight of up to 5 kg.

The duration of the flight is 2 hours. The declared maximum flight speed is 120 km/h. The working height of the flight is 1000 meters.

The drone can be equipped with an optical-electronic system with 10-fold optical magnification. The operating temperature range during the operation of the new drone is from -15 °C to +45 °C.

After completing the flight task, MiniShark makes an autonomous landing with the fuselage.

The company's representative said that work on creating a new UAV began after receiving requests from the Ukrainian military for a similar aircraft. The MiniShark drone is currently undergoing factory testing.
