Armed Forces deploying thousands of drones with flight range over 3,000 km – top official

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), announced the appearance of attack drones with a flight range of over 3,000 km.

The relevant post was published on Twitter.

As stated in Army Inform, the secretary of the NSDC illustrated his post with a photo of the plane on which the pilot Mathias Rust, flying from Hamburg, landed on the red square in moscow on May 28, 1987, bypassing the air defense system of the USSR.

The Ukrainian army has already created three strike companies of Ukrainian-made drones.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

The minister said that Ukrainian army was actively transforming and gaining unique experience in the most technological war in history. Furthermore, the Ministry and the General Staff had announced the creation of the world's first UAV strike companies, with a completely new approach to management, training, and doctrine of the use of drones. Additionally, it was reported that the first three UAV strike companies were ready for battle and had been fully staffed. Pickup trucks, attack copters, and Starlinks were also said to have been handed over. All drones were Ukrainianmade. Finally, it was mentioned that private donors had purchased the equipment for the strike companies of the Drone Army.

Fedorov said that the drones would perform reconnaissance and strike missions.
