Rehabilitation hub for Ukrainian military to open in Kyiv region

The state-of-the-art hub will be built using energy-saving and energy-generating technologies in the city of Makariv, Kyiv region, Rubryka reports.

What is the problem?

There is a war going on in Ukraine. At the front, Ukrainian military personnel receives various injuries every day. Many defenders have already lost their limbs and need quality rehabilitation.

What is the solution?

The RANA UA art project has started raising funds to construct the innovative rehabilitation hub, DEFENDER, for military personnel with limb amputations. Famous Ukrainian artists will exhibit their works and belongings at a charity auction. They will give the received funds to the construction of the hub.

Famous Ukrainian public figures, like Olha Sumska, Yevhen Khmara, Mila Nitich, Inna Silantiieva, Yulia Ostrovska, Anatolii Kryvolap, Serhii Koniushok, and others have already joined the art project.

How will it work?

The hub will be built using energy-saving and energy-generating technologies in the city of Makariv, Kyiv region. Modern farms, meat and dairy production, own shops, a museum, a cinema, food establishments, and other infrastructure will be built on its territory.

During their stay at the rehabilitation center, military personnel can undergo retraining, get a new profession, listen to motivational lectures from representatives of large and medium-sized businesses, and get a job at their enterprises.

The family can visit their defender anytime; appropriate conditions will be created for this.

After staying in the rehabilitation center, each military man will gain business experience and will be able to start his own business or use the DEFENDER franchise in other regions of Ukraine.
