Ukrainians have already raised funds for first marine drone on United24 platform

On the United24 platform, Ukrainians have already fundraised for the first maritime drone named after the Ukrainian city of Kherson.

This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.

According to him, such drones have already shown their effectiveness in the bay of Sevastopol, striking the flagship of the russian fleet, "Admiral Makarov." After that, the russian federation lost its undeniable advantage on the water.

"It is important to protect Ukrainian cities and water areas from shelling as much as possible. That is why we are raising funds for 100 Ukrainian-made marine drones. They can significantly change the situation in the Black Sea water area. Small and fast, drones can successfully attack russian ships worth hundreds of millions of dollars," the minister emphasized on Telegram.

Fedorov clarified that the maritime drone is a unique and classified Ukrainian development. One device costs UAH 10 million. The price includes a drone equipped with an autopilot system, video subsystems, including night vision, communication protected from the influence of enemy EW devices, backup communication modules, and a combat unit.

The kit also includes a ground-based autonomous control station, a transportation and storage system, a data center, and "a few special surprises for our enemies."
