Ukraine returns another 38 bodies of fallen soldiers

On November 8, Ukraine managed to return the bodies of 38 dead Ukrainian service members to their families.

Rubryka reports, referring to the Telegram of the Ministry on Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

As the agency said, the operation was carried out with the cooperation of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, Oleh Kotenko, and several law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

The process of returning bodies occurs per the Geneva Convention's norms.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the work of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, it has been possible to return 663 bodies.

On November 3, Ukraine managed to return another 107 Ukrainian soldiers from russian captivity, including 74 Azovstal defenders

The head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, reported: "We brought home many wounded in the battles.

In particular, we managed to exchange seriously injured and bedridden from Mariupol from Azovstal, boys with shrapnel wounds on their arms and legs and with gunshot wounds on various parts of their bodies.

There are people with amputated limbs and burns who do not feel part of the face, with infected wounds.

There is also a wounded fighter due to the explosion in Olenivka Colony. Many of our guys were injured back in March. The state will do everything necessary to help each of them."

We will remind you that on October 29, 52 Ukrainians returned home from russian captivity: officers, doctors, sergeants, and soldiers.

On October 26, another exchange of prisoners took place. Ten Ukrainian servicemen were returned home.

As Rubryka wrote, on September 22, Ukraine managed to free 215 people from russian captivity.

200 Ukrainian soldiers were exchanged for putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk, who "already gave all possible evidence to the investigation."
