President Volodymyr Zelensky considers the statements of the russian federation about the transfer of troops and evacuation from Kherson and the entire region to be an information operation, all of russia's most prepared troops remain in place.

He said this in an interview with the Italian media outlet Corriere della Sera.

"I don't see them (russians – ed.) fleeing from Kherson. This is an information attack – I can't divulge everything – it's an attack so that we … transfer troops there from other dangerous directions. It was their (russian – ed.) information operation. They (the Russian federation – ed.) are not ready to leave Kherson. But they know: if we succeed, they will not be able to leave. russians know about this problem and the danger," Zelensky emphasized.

He also noted that not many people left during the evacuation of civilians announced by russia and called such actions and statements on the part of the russian federation "theatre."

According to the head of state, the most prepared military personnel of the russian federation remain in their places; no one has left.

"We see this and do not believe them (russians – ed.)," the President emphasized.

At the same time, he expressed the belief that Ukraine is capable of liberating Kherson, even though it is difficult.

"It is difficult because the price is people. We do not treat people the same way as in russia. For it (russia – ed.), it is not important how many people will die tomorrow. It is essential for us. We cannot act like this… Therefore we are thinking; we are looking for ways, we are asking our partners to give us more armored vehicles to save more people," the President said.

The deputy chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksii Hromov, does not rule out that the russian troops, during the evacuation from the Kherson region, are capable of carrying out terrorist attacks there with the detonation of residential buildings.

The Kherson RMA head, Yaroslav Yanushevich, asks the residents of the temporarily occupied region to ignore the calls of the russian invaders for the so-called evacuation. According to him, the enemy wants to take the Kherson people hostage and use them as a "human shield."
