No negotiations with russia: Zelensky signed NSDC decision on response to russia's "attempted annexation"

President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the decision of the National Security Council regarding russia's attempted annexation of four Ukrainian regions

This is reported by Rubryka, referring to the relevant decree published on the president's website.

This decision of the National Security Council was a response to "russia's attempt to annex the territories" of Ukraine.

"To establish the impossibility of conducting negotiations with the President of the russian federation, vladimir putin," the decree emphasized.

"In the conditions of escalation on the part of the russian federation, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to ensure the strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities by increasing the supply of military-technical assistance to Ukraine," the document underlined.

At the same time, the decree recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt "relevant draft laws on appropriate sanctions and other response to escalation by the russian federation."

We are talking about the decision of the National Security Council of September 30.

We will remind that on Monday, September 3, russia's State Duma approved the "ratification" of the legally null and void agreements on the inclusion of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine into the russian federation.

On October 4, the Council of the russian federation "ratified" the annexation of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine.

The President's Office assured russia and its accomplices in the occupied territories of Ukraine that sham referenda would not provide an opportunity to legalize the seizure of Ukrainian lands.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that after the so-called "referenda" are held in the occupied territories, negotiations with the President of the russian federation, vladimir putin, will become impossible.
