"On the night of the shelling of the City Council, the cable on which our state flag was held was broken. And it was time to replace the flag itself; it burned out and crumbled. It's not good.

Today we found an opportunity to hang a new one.

Good afternoon, my Hero City!" the mayor emphasized.

According to locals, the invaders have not yet responded to the action.

Note.

Currently, the city of Kherson is occupied.

The Russian occupiers wanted to hold a "referendum" in the city for the so-called "Kherson People's Republic."

However, local deputies at an emergency meeting of the regional council rejected the idea of creating a "Kherson People's Republic."

Rallies in support of Ukraine are held in the city almost every day. Kherson urges Russian aggressors to leave the city and Ukraine.

On March 21, in Svobody Square in Kherson, Russian occupiers hurled grenades at pro-Ukrainian protesters and opened fire, injuring them.
