Humanitarian corridor for March 22: evacuation of Mariupol residents is a priority - Vereshchuk

On March 22, the authorities again organized a humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of Mariupol residents from occupied Berdiansk, Yuriivka, and Nikolske to Zaporizhzhia

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration, Iryna Vereshchuk, informs about it in a video address, Rubryka reports.

A route for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Mariupol is also being organized.

"Today we are working hard on the evacuation of Mariupol residents," she said.

Today 3 routes will be open for evacuation of people from Mariupol to the city of Zaporizhzhia:

Berdiansk – Zaporizhzhia

Meeting place: sports complex on the Melitopolske Shosse Street, 27.

Manhush community – Zaporizhzhia

Meeting place: Yurivka village, Melekine village council, Zmina boarding house.

Nikolske – Zaporizhzhia

Meeting place: school №2, Parkova street, 23.

Buses will be delivered to collection points from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

"We understand that there are not enough seats for everyone, so please go to the buses in an organized manner, according to the instructions of our representatives on the ground.

We will definitely not leave anyone and we will continue to evacuate daily according to the same algorithm until we take everyone (Mariupol residents) out.

Now 21 buses and trucks with humanitarian aid have already left Zaporizhzhia on the route to Mariupol.

We are resolving the issue of delivering additional fuel to Berdiansk in order to continue refueling cars in Mariupol free of charge.

The headquarters in Berdiansk continue to work, where Mariupol residents are provided with all the necessary assistance, "Vereshchuk stressed.
