The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reports it, Rubryka reports.
Unfortunately, 21 people were killed and 25 others were injured.
"The Russian military shelled the city at about 3:30 a.m. on March 17. As a result, the secondary school and the city community center were destroyed.
21 people were killed and 25 were injured, 10 of them in critical condition. The clearing of the debris is still ongoing.
The prosecutor's office has opened a criminal case on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement said.
As Rubryka previously reported, on the night of March 17, the occupiers shelled the city of Merefa and continued the chaotic shelling of Kharkiv and other cities in the region.
Fighting also continues in Izium and the Chuhuiv direction.
