Russia's war crimes hearings will begin today at The Hague tribunal
Today, March 7, the first session of the International Criminal Court in The Hague will take place in the case of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
This was announced by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavskyi, the Verkhovna Rada reports.

On March 3, the International Criminal Court in The Hague, following an appeal by 39 ICC member states, launched an investigation into the Russian Federation's war crimes against Ukraine.
Ukraine has filed a lawsuit against Russia in the UN International Court of Justice.
Canada has also filed a lawsuit against Russia at the UN International Criminal Court in The Hague over possible war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ukraine.
