This can save lives: the Ministry of Internal Affairs called on Ukrainians to turn off geolocation on their phones

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine calls on all citizens to turn off geolocation in their smartphones and on devices of their relatives, as stated by the press service of the department.

They point out that most of the Russian artillery spotters' labels are already neutralized, so the Russian occupation forces are starting to focus on the accumulation of mobile traffic.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs asks to share the information among locals about the need to turn off geolocation.

What to do if you see enemy tags/labels?

They should be painted with resin, sealed with foil, or sprinkled with earth. It doesn't make sense to paint it over with a usual paint or a spray can: labels are made with luminescent paint which will shine through a covering

Also, immediately call the police on number 102 and be prepared to name the exact location of the mark: the name of the town, distance from it, or other landmarks.

Cyberpolice has also created a special bot to report the labels occupiers leave on the roads. You can take a picture of the label, and it will get to a single database on Google Maps. The bot can be found by the address – @ukraine_avanger_bot.
