An innovative complex for halal meat production created in Rivne region

Certified Halal products, which confirm compliance with Muslim traditions, will now be manufactured in the village of Velykyi Mydsk, Kostopil Territorial Community of Rivne Region.
The Rivne Regional State Administration announced this, Rubryka reports.
A high-tech butchery of cattle was opened in the village. It was built for Turkish investments of 71 million hryvnias.
On September 28, the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Vitalii Koval, together with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Ukraine, Yagmur Guldere, and the Deputy Head of the President's Office, Andrii Sybiha visited the complex.
It is noted that the construction of the shop began in the spring. The entire process of construction, installation and purchase of the necessary equipment was monitored by Turkish experts to ensure that the entire technological process met the canonical requirements of Islam (Sharia).
"This is a growth point not only for the Rivne region but for the whole of Ukraine. All interstate developments should be converted into effective projects like such. Here we saw new approaches to work, modern technologies, and real professionals. I wish the company development and prosperity. You're on the right path," Andrii Sybiha noted.
So, to make "halal" meat, you need to butcher especially. This method should be quick and painless. Particular attention is paid to the absence of blood residues in the meat.
"After commissioning, we will apply for a Halal certificate. It will allow you to export products to all Islamic countries. Local farmers also have an advantage; they will not be able to sell cattle for nothing and finally start earning money on quality meat," says the director of "Halal Company" Serhii Marchuk.
The production capacity of the newly built high-tech butchery complex of cattle is 10 tons of products per shift. There is a modern shop for deboning, packing, cooling, a Turkish vacuum line, as well as modern refrigerators. They will also create comfortable working conditions for more than 200 employees.
"Ukraine is a very powerful and strong country. And the opening of this important enterprise in the Rivne region is another confirmation of these words. We believe that Turkish-Ukrainian trade and industrial ties will grow," said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Guldere.
