The government of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is one-year-old. The Servant of the People party evaluated the work of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Vasyl Mokan, a People's Deputy from the Servant of the People party, spoke about the work of the Cabinet of Ministers during this period on the air of the Ukraine 24 channel.

"If the government had been working all this time, not in force majeure — a pandemic, a time when all countries are facing severe economic challenges, problems that exist in the country — I think the assessment would be a little lower. But since I understand that the government now works in hard conditions and is forced to react quickly to challenges and problems, the assessment will be somewhere at 7-8 points (from 10 – ed.)," he told.

The People's Deputy named the achievements of Shmyhal's Cabinet.

"I'd like to attribute the achievements to the fact that during this period, a lot of attention and resources are paid to increasing the capacity of the health care system. If we compare the numbers in terms of the number of beds, oxygen equipment, capabilities of our laboratories, and everything else that is aimed at combating the coronavirus, we see the numbers are increasing tenfold.

Also, the government's policy concerning social support of citizens. The indexation of payments and pensions is carried out as much as possible within the limits of state finances. The minimum wage was raised. The government is trying to make these increases have a positive effect on the lives of citizens," he said.
