Ukrainians developed a unique mobile station for air quality monitoring
The Sapphire-32 mobile station allows you to measure air composition by over 15 indicators in any location.
The EcoCity development team, representatives of the Clean Air for Ukraine project, and the Czech NGO Arnika presented the Sapphire-32 mobile air monitoring station. The station is special in that, thanks to its mobility, it allows you to monitor the air anywhere, and thus helps to take advocacy for protecting citizens' rights to a clean environment to a new level.
Unlike large stationary air monitoring stations, the Sapphire-32 is similar in size to a laptop bag or small case. The station is powered by built-in batteries that provide continuous monitoring in the field for up to 48 hours. Sapphire-32 measures the content of fine dust fractions PM10 and PM2.5, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide (CO and CO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), formaldehyde (H2CO), ammonia (NH3), ground-level ozone (O3) and total concentrations of organic compounds TVOC.
