Morning in Kyiv. Rescuers assist victims of russian missile strikes

📌 During the morning missile attacks, russia launched 84 missiles and 24 combat UAVs over Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 43 missiles. The Ukrainian forces do everything possible to protect their fellow citizens.

📌 Air defense also shot down 13 drones

📌 Two Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones launched from the territory of Belarus were shot down in the Kyiv region.

📌 Closer to the evening, aircraft defense shot down two rockets in Kremenchuk, Poltava region.

📌 The latest situation in Ukraine's south as of this morning:

  • Ukraine's air force carried out 99 strikes on the russian forces,
  • Missile and artillery units carried out 246 firing missions,
  • The estimated enemy losses are 44 russian soldiers, two Grad multiple-rocket launching systems, four tanks, ten armored vehicles, and four 120-caliber mortars.
  • Two tanks, two armored vehicles, and one Msta-S self-propelled howitzer were damaged.

📌 In the Kharkiv region, Ukraine's special forces shot down a ruscist UAV Takhion. ⬆️

📌 The GZM-3 armored minelaying vehicle was captured. Now it will work for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

📌 Explosion reported:

  • S-300 cluster was struck in Belgorod Oblast. 
  • A drone control center was hit in Kursk;
  • In Briansk, there was an explosion at the firing range with the mobilized soldiers.
  • A large military arsenal of the Navy caught fire near Yaroslavl.
  • There are reports of explosions in Dzhankoi in occupied Crimea.
  • In Rostov Oblast, a SU-25 flying on a combat sortie from the airfield crashed. The pilot did not survive.

📌 Rockets attacked the capital. During rush hour, Kyiv's first explosions were recorded in the city's center in the morning. As a result of a rocket attack, five people were killed, and 51 more civilians were injured.

In general, in Kyiv, there were several hits on critical infrastructure facilities in 5 districts of the city.

📌 In the Kyiv region, air strikes were recorded in 3 districts—strikes on critical and civilian infrastructure. 

  • The russian occupiers shelled one of the settlements in the Vyshhorod district. As a result of the explosion, the residents' houses caught fire, and two of them were injured.
  • One person died, and one was injured due to rocket fire in the Brovary district.
  • In Obukhiv, six people were wounded by rocket strikes

📌 In Kharkiv, russian occupiers attacked an energy infrastructure object with three strikes. The power supply is being restored.

📌 In Konotop, Sumy region, two rockets hit infrastructure facilities. There are injured. In Sumy, the water supply has been stopped, and all the city's water inlet system has stopped. 

📌 In Khmelnytskyi, a missile hit the city's infrastructure. Electricity and water have stopped. Hospitals run on diesel generators.

Fire at the Lviv substation 

📌 Lviv had an energy collapse. Electricity has disappeared in about 90% of the city, and the city's heat and power plants, electric transport, and no water are not working. Reserve power is being connected to provide water to the townspeople.

📌 In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Burshtyn Terminal Power Plant, located near the city of Burshtyn at the intersection of power lines connecting Ukraine with Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia, was fired upon. It exports electricity to Europe.

📌 In Zhytomyr, one of the missiles was shot down by air defense. Power supply to all critical infrastructure facilities has already been restored. Repair work is ongoing.

Fires in Dnipro after the russian attack

📌 As a result of a missile attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, at least four people died, and 19 were injured. The russian federation directed more than ten missiles at the region. Four of them were shot down by air defense. There are hits on critical infrastructure objects, residential areas, and transport stops. The destruction is severe, the local governor's office says.

In two districts of Kryvyi Rih, there is no electricity or water due to the destruction of the energy infrastructure. Water will be delivered by tanker trucks.

📌 Poltava's electricity and water supply stooped. The explosions took place in the Kremenchuk district.

📌 In Ternopil, Vinnytsia, and Rivne, Ukraine's Air Defense Forces worked and shot down the missiles.

📌 As a result of today's russian attacks, 70 objects were damaged, including 29 critical infrastructure objects, four high-rise buildings, 35 private houses, and one school in Kyiv. 11 people died, and 87 were injured.

At the moment, everyone needs to be prepared for temporary interruptions in electricity, water supply, and communications. Today, the authorities asked to limit electricity consumption from 17:00 to 22:00 to reduce the critical load on the power grids.

📌 Three russian cruise missiles fired in the morning over Ukraine violated the airspace of Moldova. The country's Foreign Ministry reported that they summoned the russian ambassador for an explanation.

High-rise building destroyed by a russian rocket in Zaporizhzhia

📌 The Kremlin's inhuman monsters continue to kill peaceful people with another night of terror in Zaporizhzhia. Around two o'clock in the morning, the city was shelled by more than a dozen rockets again with a direct hit on a multi-story building, where the entire entrance was destroyed. 2 people died, and 23 were injured, including one child.

In Zaporizhzhia, due to russia's night attacks, 16 civilians were killed, and about 100 were wounded.

📌 The head of the Mykolaiv region, Vitalii Kim, reported on ten strikes on Mykolaiv. According to him, S-300 air defense missiles were launched over the city. There have been no casualties reported.

📌 Dnipropetrovsk region. Night of massive attacks. The russians hit four districts of the region with rockets, Uragan missiles, Grad missiles, and heavy artillery. In the Nikopol district, three communities were shelled — Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrivka.

Sloviansk after russian shelling

📌 The central part of Sloviansk (Donetsk region) suffered another enemy attack on Monday night. As a result of the shelling, four people died.

📌 As of yesterday, as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation, 421 children died, and more than 798 were injured of various severity.

📌 In the russian media space is thrilled today with the mass shelling and is asking for more destruction. The russians are no longer interested in any military facilities, no "demilitarization, and denazification." russia is in pure, unclouded joy from murder and destruction. Life amid war

📌 45% of all funds of the State Budget 2023 will be directed to the army and security of the country. Almost 30% of expenses will go to pensions, social programs, education, and medicine. Yesterday, the Parliament adopted this as the basis of the budget for 2023. 

📌 The military can get the right to travel abroad to visit relatives. Such changes to the current legislation have already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

📌 Ukrainians were allowed not to cancel their registration in the EU, even if they returned home for an extended period. 

📌 Due to missile attacks, Ukraine will stop exporting electricity to the EU on October 11.


Foreign partners' support

💡 Zelensky said that he agreed with Scholz on an urgent G7 meeting, at which he plans to talk about the terrorist attacks organized by russia.

💡 The US Congress submitted bills recognizing russia as a state sponsor of terrorism and recognizing russia's actions in Ukraine as genocide.

💡 Estonia is preparing to recognize russia as a terrorist state officially.

💡 The European Commission is working on a draft law that would allow the seizing of assets subject to sanctions against the russian federation and using them to restore Ukraine.

💡 The European Union will introduce extraterritorial sanctions against russia. The new package of measures will allow the EU to blacklist people and organizations that help circumvent EU sanctions. In short, "parallel import" is over.

💡 Germany will transfer 100,000 sets of winter clothing to Ukraine, hundreds of mobile power generators, and other equipment worth 11 million euros.

💡 Also, amid missile strikes on Ukraine, Germany's defense ministry announced it would supply Ukraine with the first of the four previously promised IRIS-T air defense systems.
