Ukraine's defense ministry authorizes Pernach remote-controlled combat module
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially approved and codified the domestically produced "Pernach" combat module for use by Ukrainian military units.
Rubryka reports, citing a report from the Ministry's press service.
This advanced system, created by Ukrainian manufacturers, is set to play a crucial role in strengthening the Defense Forces' arsenal. Pernach offers Ukrainian units enhanced remote fire control capabilities, boosting overall combat effectiveness.
Overview of the Pernach Combat Module
The Pernach combat module is a remote-controlled system featuring:
- A 7.62 mm machine gun
- A turret
- A control system with a battery pack
- A camera for enhanced targeting and operational visibility
Control is operated by an operator from a protected shelter using a remote control and special FPV glasses that transmit images from the module's video camera.
Pernach is designed as a versatile support tool that can be mounted on various armored vehicles or stationary structures.
Its modular design makes it easily adaptable to different battlefield needs, allowing the installation of various weapon types—from machine guns and automatic grenade launchers to anti-tank missile systems.
Pernach is equipped with advanced guidance systems that ensure accurate firing in any conditions: day, night, and adverse weather. Its innovative components allow for precise target strikes even at long distances, significantly enhancing its combat effectiveness.
