Drones target two enterprises in Russia's Voronezh region, explosions rock occupied Crimea in nighttime attack
On the evening of October 27, a drone attack was reported in the Voronezh region of Russia. Two industrial sites sustained damage. Later, on October 28, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea as well. The authorities of the occupied peninsula reported a missile threat.
The regional governor, Aleksandr Gusev, the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mykhail Razvozhayev, and the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported this.
Voronezh region
The region governor, Aleksandr Gusev, reported on the work of air defense and electronic warfare. It is alleged that ten unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the region.
When a drone fell, it damaged the utility room at the industrial facility.
One more industrial enterprise sustained damage. An unmanned aerial vehicle also crashed there, causing a fire at one of the facilities.
There were no casualties. At the same time, the threat of drone attacks in the region remains, the Russian official said.
Before that, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Russian soldiers also shot down:
- four drones over the Belgorod region,
- two more — above Bryansk.
Ukraine was blamed for the attack, but Kyiv has not yet commented on it.
Crimea
Explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of October 28; the occupation authorities reported a missile threat.
An air raid alert was also announced in Sevastopol.
Up to 20 explosions were reported in Dzhankoi and the surrounding area, as well as in Simferopol and the Chervonohvardiyskyi and Hvardiyskyi districts. Up to 8 explosions occurred near Simferopol's airport.
Residents reported that the first explosion in Hvardiyske "was powerful."
It should be mentioned that the Russian occupiers' airfields are located in Dzhankoi, Simferopol, and Hvardiyske.

As reported, on the night of October 20, a powerful attack was made on the military airfield "Lipetsk-2" in the Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation.
On October 3, drones attacked an airfield in the Voronezh region, where Russian warehouses with anti-aircraft missiles and parking lots of Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft are located. Photos and videos of the aftermath of the attack were published online.
On the night of August 14, Russia was also massively attacked by drones. Even though the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the so-called "destruction" of 117 drones in eight regions of the aggressor country, the so-called Russian military bloggers wrote about three Russian airfields that were under attack.
Then, it was revealed that the Voronezh, Kursk, Savasleyka, and Borysoglebsk airfields were attacked.
Ukrainian kamikaze drones also attacked the Russian airfield "Savasleyka" on August 16. Three Russian planes were destroyed there.
Moreover, on the night of August 30, the Russian Federation announced a drone attack on the airport near Kaluga, and in Crimea, explosions were also heard near the Kirovske airfield.
On the night of August 3, there was a UAV attack in Morozovsk, Rostov region in Russia. Initial reports suggest that the drones targeted a military airfield.
The General Staff has confirmed that the Ukrainian armed forces launched a drone attack on the Morozovsk airfield near Rostov, hitting a warehouse with ammunition.
In addition, on September 9, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck another important enemy object on the territory of the Russian Federation; in particular, the Russian airfield "Lipetsk" was hit, which caught fire.
