Russian shelling kills woman in front-line town of Kurylivka

Russian forces shelled the village of Kurylivka in the front-line Kupiansk district, the northern Kharkiv region.

A local resident was killed, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, Rubryka reports.

The shelling was recorded at 10:30. The attack killed a 67-year-old civilian woman.

Currently, specialized services are working at the sites of the strikes.

Situation in the region

Throughout March 4, the Russians opened fire from artillery and mortars on about 17 towns of the Kharkiv region: Kozacha Lopan, Krasne, Neskuchne, and others.

Airstrikes hit the settlements of Varvariivka, Nesterne, Kolodiazhne, Kyslivka, Mytrofanivka, and Petropavlivka.

In the shelling of Senkove, a 49-year-old driver of the emergency medical center sustained injuries and blast trauma.

The Russians also shelled the village of Ivashky in Bohodukhiv district during the unloading of humanitarian aid.

On March 4, the Russian army struck Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region for the first time with a guided bomb with a cluster charge.

On the night of March 5, Russian forces again struck the southern city of Odesa with the "Shahed" drones: 18 kamikaze drones were successfully downed by air defense forces.

According to the Southern Defense Forces, Russian invaders repeated the tactic of maneuvering between residential buildings, which they applied on March 2.

On the night of March 2, Russian forces once again attacked Odesa. One of the drones hit a 9-story residential building in a residential area while maneuvering among the residential quarters of Odesa. Part of the entrance with 18 apartments was destroyed.

On March 3, rescuers in Odesa completed a search operation at the site of the Russian drone strike on a high-rise building. There were 12 fatalities, including five children, the youngest of whom was four months old.
