Ukrainian forces eliminate elite Russian assault group near Avdiivka

Ukrainian troops defeated an elite group of Russian attack aircraft, while during their offensive towards Stepove, Russian troops lost more than 30 of their soldiers at once, the 47th separate brigade reports.

Ukrainian soldiers stopped the offensive, eliminating the enemy troops and their equipment near Avdiivka.

The soldiers reported they hit a company of attack drones in cooperation with the legendary Bradley crews.

A video posted on the brigade's page shows the enormous losses during Russian offensive from Avdiivka towards Stepove.

During the next assault, Russian troops lost several dozen soldiers and at least one tank in the area at once.

37 bodies of Russian soldiers who were killed during the storming of Ukrainian positions remain near the tank.

A Ukrainian drone recorded the process of collecting the killed. Presumably, the number of 37 bodies is not final.

The bodies were laid near the railroad in the area of the village of Stepove, which the Russians tried to capture before the military left Avdiivka.

The battle for Stepove became one of the bloodiest near Avdiivka. Russian troops sent infantry and armored vehicles to attack every day.

Ukrainian troops left the villages of Severne and Stepove, which lie to the west of Avdiivka, only in the second half of February.

Despite enormous losses, Russian troops continue to press on and build up their combat groups. They are conducting active offensives both day and night, so the situation in the Avdiivka area is tough.
