Kyiv region has restored over 16,000 war-affected buildings

Over 16.5 thousand facilities have already been fully or partially restored in the Kyiv region, including 198 kindergartens and schools, 109 healthcare facilities, and apartment and private houses.
What is the problem?
The Kyiv region is one of the most affected regions by the full-scale war.
Over 28,000 buildings were destroyed and damaged during the hostilities, including more than 24,000 residential houses. Schools, administrative and social facilities were also destroyed.
Almost 4,500 private and multi-storey buildings were wiped-out.
What is the solution?
During the period of reconstruction that began after the liberation, over 16,500 facilities have been fully and partially restored in the Kyiv region.

Reconstruction and the return of people remain a priority for Kyiv military administration.
How does it work?
The bulk of the restored buildings are apartment buildings and private houses, which is over 15,000 buildings.
According to the press service, Kyiv restored 198 kindergartens and schools, 109 health care facilities, 76 administrative buildings and ASCs.
Authorities assured that the following innovations were introduced to ensure transparency and accountability of all processes.
"We will continue active reconstruction in the next 2024," authorities said.
