During the second wave of the BGV's project assisting families with newborns, the fund distributed 1,500 aid kits in collaboration with the Ombudsman's Office. The team of the regional representatives of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights and the Ministry of Social Protection compiled a list of families with children in need, including newborns in large and economically challenged families, as well as internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Kharkiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Afterward, these families registered for the program through the Ombudsman's Office representatives.

Employees from regional branches of the Ombudsman's Office helped families register to participate in the project.
