BGV Charity Fund and FC “Polissia” purchase and deliver training gear worth 400,00 hryvnias for “Burevii” brigade
In September 2023, the BGV Charity Fund, in collaboration with the football club "Polissia," raised 400,000 hryvnias to purchase training gear for the "Burevii" brigade, part of the National Guard of Ukraine.
By November 2023, the BGV team used this funding to procure and deliver a batch of airsoft equipment already used for training assault troops. The shipment includes training grenades, airsoft weapons such as rifles and machine guns, ballistic goggles, a set of airsoft pellets, batteries, and universal chargers.
In today's combat scenarios, sharpshooting requires coordinated actions from unit fighters, their understanding of roles and functions, and quick decision-making — often, it is a matter of our defenders' lives. Training in conditions closely resembling real combat — battle simulation — is most effective, and airsoft weaponry can support it.
FC "Polissia" fans significantly contributed to raising the entire funding spent on training gear by purchasing virtual tickets and branded T-shirts.
