Soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence have shown footage of the preparation of raids on the Russian-occupied territory of Crimea, Rubryka reports.

"Unique footage of the preparation and implementation of raids on the temporarily occupied Crimea carried out by the warriors of 'Stuhnia' and 'Brotherhood,' the Timura special forces unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine," the defense intelligence said on Telegram.

The statement added:

"Motivated reconnaissance forces continue their glorious combat path, demonstrating courage and composure during combat missions."

Background

The occupied city of Sevastopol was rocked by an explosion in the morning on November 16.

"Our subscribers report that a rocket flew over Sevastopol, and an explosion was heard," the "Crimean Wind" Telegram channel reported.

A correspondent of "Crimea.Realities" reported that in the central part of Sevastopol, at around 07:50 Moscow time (06:50 Kyiv time), "loud sounds resembling launches from jet bombers" were heard.

A little earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that on the night of November 16, "air defense destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Bryansk region, and three more UAVs were intercepted over the Black Sea near the coast of the Republic of Crimea."

Sounds of explosions are systematically heard in Crimea.

Reconnaissance raid into occupied Crimea

On August 24, the media reported that Ukrainian intelligence landed in Crimea. Around 5:00, the town of Mayak on Cape Tarkhankut was rocked by explosions. A battle took place as part of a Ukrainian special operation involving naval vessels and aviation.

In comments to the media, intelligence representatives noted that the sortie had the character of a raid. It demonstrated that Crimea was within reach for operations by Ukrainian fighters.

Spokesperson Yusov also reported that the operation took place on the territory of Cape Tarkhankut, in the settlements of Mayak and Olenivka. He clarified that the Ukrainian military had already returned after the special operation, having completed the assigned tasks.

During the special operation, Ukrainian scouts raised the Ukrainian flag in Crimea.

According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksii Danilov, most likely, Ukraine would liberate Crimea by military means. Ukraine will have certain security guarantees only in the case of de-occupation of the peninsula, he said.

The Chief of Defense Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could strike the enemy in any part of the temporarily occupied Crimea if necessary and recommended Russians and Ukrainian collaborators to leave the peninsula.
