Russian troops strike Odesa region, injuring civilians and damaging infrastructure

On Sunday, November 5, Russian invaders shelled the Odesa region. As a result of the enemy attack, the infrastructure facility was damaged, and people were injured.

The Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine reported this.

"In the middle of the day, tactical aviation aircraft from the Black Sea directed an anti-radar missile Kh-31P towards Odesa and guided Kh-59 – towards Dnipropetrovsk regions," the defense forces reported.

The military explained that in the Odesa region, the enemy's priorities are focused on countering civilian shipping.

"Administrative buildings were damaged when the infrastructural object was hit. Three employees were injured. The blast wave also damaged the surrounding buildings," the defense forces explained.

At 3:27 PM, the Odesa region was alerted by an air raid siren. The Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces warned about the threat of missiles.

After that, explosions rang out in the Odesa area. Local publics reported that air defense was working.

"Odesa district, stay in shelters until the air alarm goes off! This is important!" – wrote the head of regional military administration Kiper.

He later reported the consequences.

The South's defense forces noted that the occupiers fired an anti-radar Kh-31P missile over the region from tactical aircraft in the Black Sea.

On the night of November 3, the Russian invaders released 40 kamikaze drones and a Kh-59 guided air missile over Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 24 Shahed UAVs and a rocket.

The enemy attacked Kharkiv, critical infrastructure facilities were attacked in the Odesa and Lviv regions, and a military facility was attacked in Ivano-Frankivsk.

It is also known that in the Prykarpattia area, debris from a downed drone fell on a hostel.
