Russia has killed 506 and injured 1130 Ukrainian children since beginning of full-scale war – Office of Prosecutor General
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, 1,636 children have been affected, including 506 minors who have died; 1,130 have received injuries of various degrees of severity.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Telegram.
As noted by the prosecutor's office, as of October 3, 2023, at least 1,636 children were affected.
According to juvenile prosecutors' official information, the number of children who died is 506.
The number of victims in the war also increased – 1,130 minors who received injuries of varying degrees of severity.
Juvenile prosecutors emphasize that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
As of October 3, the Prosecutor General's Office reported that children were most affected in:
- the Donetsk region – 488,
- the Kharkiv region – 303,
- the Kyiv region – 129,
- the Mykolaiv region – 97,
- the Chernihiv region – 72,
- the Luhansk region – 67,
- the Kherson region – 128,
- the Zaporozhzhia region – 99,
- the Dnipropetrovsk region – 96.
The latest discovered facts of crimes against children:
- An 8-year-old boy tragically lost his life on October 5 in the Kharkiv region when Russian troops shelled a café and shop in the village of Hroza.
- On October 6, a 10-year-old boy was killed in Kharkiv due to enemy shelling, and an 11-month-old baby, his brother, was injured.
It should be noted that as of October 3, juvenile prosecutors emphasize that they have already found 18,473 children. The prosecutor's office considers 1,222 minors to be missing.

In addition, 13 children suffered from sexual violence.
The department also emphasized that 19,546 children were deported to Russia and the so-called republics, of which only 386 minors were returned home.
