Head of Ukraine's Security Service Maliuk reveals details of blowing up of Crimean Bridge last year

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Maliuk, told in an interview with NV magazine how the Crimean Bridge was blown up for the first time in October last year.

The official noted that to transport 21 tons of hexane to the bridge inconspicuously; the SSU employees wrapped the explosives with packaging film. According to the legend of the special operation, the rolls of such film were to be officially transported by truck.
The SSU circumvented specialized jammers on the Crimean bridge that fuddled GPS coordinates. So, on October 8, 2022, such "film" exploded in the middle of the bridge.
"We went through the seven circles of hell and involved so many Russians who were in suspense!" – says the head of the SSU.
Maliuk also noted that an SSU officer with the call sign "Hunter" played a significant role in organizing the second attack on the Crimean Bridge in July 2023. He put much effort into creating naval drones that undermined one of the symbols of the Putin regime.

The amount of explosives on the drones was increased to 850 kg of hexane. They also modernized the drone control system, receiving a qualitatively new model of the surface drone. Remotely controlled kamikaze watercraft made of a unique material invisible to enemy radars. Their design provided for three types of control and self-destruction if necessary.
"It was an indescribable feeling. When the explosion happened, we screamed very loudly because the tension inside was huge," said Maliuk, who personally developed and supervised the implementation of this special operation.
The head of the SSU emphasized that the Crimean Bridge is a legitimate target for Ukraine and that the Geneva Conventions, which regulate the rules of warfare, do not contain a ban on attacking such objects.
The Security Service even released unique photos of the preparations for the detonation of the Crimean Bridge.

At 6:07 am on October 8, 2022, an explosion caused a fire to break out on the Crimean Bridge. This was on the westbound roadway from Russia to Kerch in Russian–held Crimea. The two–lane vehicular spans of the bridge collapsed into the water, however, two neighboring eastbound lanes remained intact. The railway bridge also suffered significant harm from a railway tanker that caught fire.
Moreover, on July 17, 2023 around 3:04 and 3:20 in the morning Eastern European Summer Time, the Ukrainian Navy sent out two drone boats to attack the Crimean Bridge, messing up a section of the highway bridge.
