United to win: US preparing new military aid package for Ukraine
The United States plans to announce a new $400 million military aid package to Ukraine on Tuesday.
Rubryka reports, referring to AP, that according to a White House source, the new military aid package will include ammunition for advanced air defense systems, Hornet reconnaissance drones, and armored personnel carriers.
It is reported that the package also includes missiles for HIMARS and NASAMS air defense systems, Stinger and Javelin, and Hydra-70 anti-aircraft missiles.
Officials also said that the US would transfer Hornet reconnaissance drones, howitzer artillery shells, 32 Stryker armored personnel carriers, demining equipment, mortars, and 28 million cartridges for small arms.
The weapons are provided through a special authorization from the US president, allowing the Pentagon to quickly remove them from the stockpiles and deliver them to Ukraine, often within days.
US military aid to Ukraine
From the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion, the United States has provided comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, transferring weapons, equipment, ammunition, communications equipment, various repair equipment, etc.
The other day it became known that the USA will provide Ukraine with new weapons worth $1.3 billion as part of the military aid package, foreseeing, in particular, the delivery of NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems.
The previous military aid package from the United States also included cluster munitions, which Ukraine requested a few months ago. They have already been delivered to the territory of Ukraine.
