Russian drones once again attack ports in Odesa region

The Russian army continues to terrorize Ukraine's southern Odesa region. 

The South Operational Commands at Ukraine's armed forces reports that this night, Russian directed an almost four-hour attack by Shahed-136 drones at the port infrastructure of the Danube River.

"Air defense downed three drones. The drone strikes destroyed a grain hangar and damaged storage tanks with other types of cargo. A fire broke out in one of the production premises, which was quickly extinguished," the statement says.

Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, reported that six people were injured by the night attack.

"Four wounded were hospitalized in the regional hospital, one of whom is in a moderate, closer to serious condition," he said. "The doctors managed to stabilize the patient. The other three have light shrapnel wounds and bruises on their bodies. All of them were given full medical assistance."

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned on the night of July 24 about the threat of the Russians using attack drones on the territory of the Odesa region.
