Russian rockets once again strike Odesa infrastructure

The Russian occupation forces struck an infrastructure facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district in Ukraine's southern Odesa region with seven missiles of various classes.

The joint press center chief at the Southern Defense Forces, Nataliia Humeniuk, reports that information about the scale of destruction and victims is being clarified.

"The enemy continues its attacks on the Odesa region. Seven rockets of various classes were fired at an infrastructure facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region. The facility was damaged, we are clarifying the scale of the destruction, and there is no information about the victims," Humeniuk said.

According to her, this is another demonstration that the enemy will not stop and will continue terrorist attacks. She called on all region residents to be careful and stay in shelters during air raid alerts.

Answering a question about the types of weapons with which the Russian occupiers have been attacking Odesa in recent days, the spokeswoman said that the Russians used an entire arsenal of weapons and equipment, namely, strategic and tactical aviation, coastal complexes, drones, surface, and submarines.

Humeniuk is convinced that the Russian military will continue massive shelling of the South and look for new tactics to counter Ukrainian air defense. She also emphasized that Ukraine needs additional air defense systems because, despite the sanctions, the Russian forces continue mass production of missiles.
