Zelensky to visit Bulgaria at new government's invitation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Bulgaria at the invitation of the country's new government.
As Bulgarian media outlet "24 Chasa" reports, citing diplomatic sources, the details of the president's visit have not been disclosed. It is most likely to take place on Thursday.
The timing of Zelensky's visit is being kept secret for security reasons.
The President makes a visit after lawmakers in the last session of the Ukrainian parliament refused to hear his address, in which he wanted to call on Sofia to provide assistance to Ukraine.
The new pro-European government of Bulgaria has previously confirmed its support for military assistance to Ukraine.
Last week, Bulgaria approved a new package of military assistance to Ukraine without disclosing the details.
The new Defence Minister of Bulgaria, Todor Tagarev, stated that Bulgaria has already started preparing the next package of military aid.
