Multiple Ukrainian cities were targeted in a series of Russian attacks on the night of June 13. Monitoring groups reported the launch of Shahed-type UAVs and missiles from the Caspian Sea. Tragically, the city of Kryvyi Rih was hit, resulting in a fire that engulfed a 5-story building and claimed the lives of three civilians, with 25 others injured. Rescue operations are currently underway as seven people are believed to be trapped under the rubble.

President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the Russian aggression, emphasizing that the killers from Russia continue to wage war against residential areas, innocent people, and ordinary cities. In response to the attacks, air defense was activated in the Kyiv region, leading to the successful destruction of all Russian targets by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Kharkiv also experienced shelling of civilian infrastructure during the night assault. The Ukrainian Air Force responded robustly, destroying 10 of 14 Russian missiles and one of four Shahed UAVs.

These recent attacks follow a familiar pattern of Russian aggression, with missiles from the Russian occupiers circling their targets. During the latest Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of Friday, June 9, the Russian Federation used the same tactics. The casualties in Kryvyi Rih bring the total number of victims from this night's Russian missile strike to six as search and rescue operations continue in the affected areas.
