Head of Ukrainian intelligence confirms counteroffensive and liberation of Crimea "going as planned"
The military counteroffensive of Ukraine's armed forces is proceeding according to plan. However, plans for its implementation will not be made public.
The head of the main intelligence directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with NV.
Earlier, the head of Ukrainian intelligence said that already in the spring of 2023, the Ukrainian military would enter Crimea and liberate it from the Russian occupiers. Answering the journalist's question about this, Budanov said there is still enough time for such actions.
He also said that the counteroffensive follows a clear plan and schedule. However, he cannot reveal all the details of what will happen.
"Unfortunately, I can't answer your question: not because I don't know, but because it would be wild if I do it now – I will reveal the plan to the Russians. It will be strange. Everything will be fast," Budanov said.
For reference:
It should be noted that Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security Council, did not rule out testing the new weapons of the Ukrainian military in Crimea.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is considering two ways to liberate Crimea- military and diplomatic – both of which are relevant.
