Since beginning of 2023, russia has launched over 40 missile strikes on Kharkiv – Zelensky

Since the beginning of 2023, Russian troops have launched more than forty missile strikes on Kharkiv.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said this in an evening video message.

"Only on Kharkiv and only since the beginning of this year – in less than two and a half months – the enemy has already hit the city with more than forty rockets," he said.

The President emphasized that he expresses his support for all Ukrainian cities and communities subjected to brutal terrorist attacks by the evil state every day and every night.

"Our Kherson region and Kherson, to which the occupiers are taking revenge for their defeat. Our Zaporizhzhia. Our cities of Donetsk region and Luhansk region, which russia wants to burn down. Our Kharkiv region and Kharkiv," the President said.

He added that the enemy also attacks Nikopol and Marhanets in the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.

Zelensky noted that russia uses various weapons: missiles and artillery, drones, and mortars.

"But with one goal – to destroy life and not leave anything humane. Ruins, debris, funnels from shells in the ground are a self-portrait of russia, which it paints where normal life was without russia," the head of state said.
