As a result of shellings by the russian military, more than five thousand houses were destroyed in Kharkiv.
The city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, announced that on the telethon air.
"The russian aggressors caused us much destruction. More than five thousand houses have been destroyed. Five hundred of them cannot be restored at all. I want to say that today 150 thousand of Kharkiv residents are without a roof over their heads," Terekhov stressed.
According to him, in 2022, it was possible to rebuild 136 houses, 66 of which had severe damage.
The occupiers continue to shell border settlements in the Kharkiv region and launch rocket attacks on Kharkiv regularly.
