Biden administration assures Ukraine of its support even after US Congress elections

Mid-term congressional elections will be held in the United States on November 8. Still, the White House promises Ukraine to continue to support it regardless of the results of the vote.

President Joe Biden's spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre stated this, Rubryka reports.

"We are confident that the United States' support for Ukraine will be steadfast and unwavering. That's what we believe, and that's how we see this going forward.

You saw Jake Sullivan say the very same thing while he was in Kyiv on Monday and reiterated the United States will continue to support Ukraine across a range of areas, whether it's security assistance, economic assistance, or human rights assistance," said Jean-Pierre.

According to the spokesperson, the members of the Congress—Republicans and Democrats—clearly declared the USA's unwavering support for Ukraine.

"Under any scenario, to your point, to your question, President Biden is committed to work in a bipartisan fashion, as he has been—he has been doing to support Ukraine," the White House spokeswoman added.

On November 8, Americans will vote in the midterm elections, in which the balance of power in the United States Congress is at stake.

As Rubryka wrote, during a visit to Kyiv last week, US President's national security adviser Jake Sullivan assured that the US would provide financial aid and weapons to Ukraine regardless of the election results.

On November 4, it became known that the USA would provide Ukraine with a new aid package: tanks, armored personnel carriers, and boats.
