Ukraine will receive 30 ambulances and electric generators from Spain

Spain is handing over 30 ambulances and generators for power supply to Ukrainian hospitals.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Jose Manuel Albarez Bueno, at a joint briefing with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.

"An example of aid was the handing over to the Ukrainian government – and the Minister of Health was present with us – of 30 ambulances with the help of the UN Population Fund. And these "ambulances" will provide assistance to pregnant women, as well as women in labor who cannot get to the hospital," noted Albares

He also announced the delivery to Ukraine of five groups of generators, which are already on their way to the country, at Dmytro Kuleba's request.

This equipment will help support the electrical energy supply of hospitals and other medical facilities.

Albares also informed that Spain will still send 14 generators, which will be purchased with the funds of the Spanish cooperation agency AECID.
