In Ukraine, 248 children are currently considered missing since the Russian full-scale invasion. Meanwhile, 7,049 children have been found.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reported this on Telegram, sharing data from the "Children of War" state portal.
"Data on affected children as of October 30, 2022: 248 – missing, 9,441 – deported, 7,049 – found, 96 – returned," the PGO said.
In turn, juvenile prosecutors said 430 children had been killed as a result of the Russian armed aggression in Ukraine. As of the morning of October 30, a total of 823 children were wounded, which marks no change in stats. So, in total, more than 1,253 children in Ukraine were affected as a result of the full-scale war, the Prosecutor General's Office clarified.
It is noted that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to verify incoming reports from the zones of active hostilities, temporarily captured and liberated areas.
"The largest numbers of affected children were reported in Donetsk region (420), Kharkiv region (260), Kyiv region (116), Mykolaiv region (77), Zaporizhia region (70), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (64), Kherson region (58), and Dnipropetrovsk region (31). A total of 2,688 educational facilities were damaged, of which 331 were completely destroyed," the statement specifies.

As reported, on October 29, the Prosecutor General's Office announced that Russian troops had killed 430 children and wounded another 823 in Ukraine.
