Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to russia's massive shelling of Ukraine this morning.

He reports in his address that, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded.

"The 229th day of full-scale war. On the 229th day, they are trying to destroy us and wipe us off the face of the earth. Completely. Destroy our people who are sleeping at home in Zaporizhzhia. Kill people on their way to work in Dnipro and Kyiv.

The air alarm does not stop throughout Ukraine. There are missiles hitting. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. Please do not leave shelters. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. Let's hold on and be strong," the president said.

We will remind you that with the morning air alert, ten cities and regions across Ukraine reported explosions: Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Poltava.

The missile strikes continue around Ukraine. Now there are reports of explosions in the Odesa region. The regional military authorities reported hits on critical infrastructure and civilian areas, leaving Ukrainian citizens without water and electricity supplies, and leading to civilian victims.

The relevant services around Ukraine are working at the sites of explosions. Air defense is operating as well, eliminating the threats in the air.
