Goals of the communication campaign and the program of activities aimed at raising the awareness of Ukrainians about the comprehensive support, solidarity and assistance of the EU, which has already been provided to Ukraine during the war. And they revealed plans for further assistance.

The exhibits of the exhibition represent the works of Ukrainian illustrators, which convey the view of artists on the war in all its manifestations and on the aid to Ukraine from the EU.

In general, since the beginning of the Russian aggression, the EU has already provided almost €7 billion in macro-financial, budgetary, humanitarian, emergency and crisis aid to Ukraine.

2.5 billion was transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian army. Support for the army of a non-EU state is a new mechanism for the EU and we will continue to provide this support.

About €425 million was for the civil protection of the population.

The guests of honor at the opening were Matti Maasikas, Estonian diplomat, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, and Olga Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

Mr. Maasikas emphasized that the EU supports Ukraine and Ukrainians in their quest for European integration: it supports reforms and supports civilians who are forced to live in the realities of war.

This event is just the beginning of a whole series of online events designed to demonstrate the support that the EU provides to Ukraine. And show that together we are Europe.
