Spotify creates Ukrainian playlist to support Ukraine
One of the world's most popular music streaming services, Spotify, has created a playlist with music from famous Ukrainian artists and artists from around the world who support Ukraine. In the playlist's description, each listener will find a link to the country's fundraising platform UNITED24, initiated by the President of Ukraine. The goal of the project is to popularize Ukrainian culture and involve the international audience in regular support of Ukraine.
The playlist will be constantly updated, with weekly additions of global friends of Ukraine—well-known world artists who will popularize the project among the Western audience. To do this, each artist will record a video with an appeal to subscribe and donate and will dedicate one of their songs to Ukraine, which will be in the playlist.
Volodymyr Zelensky was the first to address Spotify's multi-million audience:
"Six months ago, russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine. We persevered, and the voices of our performers were heard all over the world. The fight continues, and today we need your support more than ever. Thanks to all music lovers. Listen to Ukrainian music, spread it, and join our fundraising platform UNITED24!" Volodymyr Zelensky said.
Creating the playlist is timed to Ukraine's Independence Day, so its description includes a link to the monthly support of Ukraine through UNITED24 for a symbolic amount of $24. All proceeds will go to the "Medical assistance" direction.
Earlier, Rubryka reported that the UNITED24 platform would give away speakers of the legendary Bang&Olufsen brand of audio and video equipment in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced that a limited collection of speakers would be installed in the brand's European stores with a call to support Ukraine and donate through UNITED24.
"You can win one of 10 speakers by donating at least 10 euros through UNITED24. The collected funds will go towards the purchase of X-ray machines. They will help doctors quickly diagnose fractures and shrapnel wounds," the minister emphasized.

The United24 fundraising platform is a so-called "single window" for donations from charitable organizations, international partners, and citizens to support Ukraine, in particular, in the following areas: assistance to the Ukrainian forces, humanitarian, medical and children assistance, infrastructure restoration, digital and information counteraction to armed aggression.
On May 17, President Zelensky signed a decree to create the United24 national brand to unite the efforts of international partners in support of Ukraine.
Famous people became United24 ambassadors, including athletes Andrii Shevchenko and Elina Svitolina, American actor Liev Schreiber, Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia, and rock band Imagine Dragons.
