Large queues formed at the entry to Ukraine from Poland, Border Service reports
In some areas on the Ukrainian border, there is a significant accumulation of vehicles leaving Poland for Ukraine.
This was reported by the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service.
In particular, the largest queues in the direction of Ukraine were formed in front of the following checkpoints: Dorogusk – Yagodyn (about 1000 cars and 150 trucks); Korchova – Krakivets (about 400 cars and 350 trucks); Medica – Shegini (about 900 cars and 200 trucks).
This accumulation arose situationally and does not depend on the order of border customs procedures, said the State Border Guard Service
Due to the queues at checkpoints, the number of staff carrying out border procedures has been increased, and additional workplaces have been equipped for registration.
"Given this situation, in order to speed up the border crossing from Poland to Ukraine, we recommend choosing other checkpoints at the common border," border guards said.
