The Ukrainian authorities held another exchange, returning home 22 Ukrainian servicemen and 8 civilians

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk on Facebook.

"According to the order of President Zelenskyy, another, fourth, exchange of prisoners of war took place today.

5 officers and 17 servicemen were exchanged. Also, 8 civilians, including 1 woman, were released," Vereshchuk said.

As Rubryka reported, on April 1, an exchange of prisoners took place in the Zaporizhzhia region. 86 Ukrainian servicemen, including 15 women, were returned.

On April 2, Vereshchuk reported that 86 Ukrainian servicemen released from captivity by the exchange on April 1 were being taken home.

Also on April 14, Ukrainian intelligence managed to release two Ukrainian pilots held captive by russian occupation forces.

As Rubryka previously reported, on March 24, prisoners of war were exchanged in a 10-by-10 format.

In exchange for 10 captured occupiers, we pulled out 10 of our servicemen.

"Also, today we sent 11 Russian civilian sailors to the russians, whom we rescued from a sunken ship near Odesa.

As a result of this exchange, 19 Ukrainian civilian sailors are returning home from the Sapphire rescue ship.

They were captured by the occupiers while trying to take our troops from Zmiinyi Island," Vereshchuk wrote.
