Zelenskyy: Slovakia supports Ukraine not only in words but also in real steps

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger, who is on a visit to our country.
This was reported by the President's Office.
The head of state thanked the Slovak people and the head of the Slovak government, not only for their verbal support to Ukraine but also for their real help with weapons, which enables our country to resist the Russian invasion.
"Slovakia supports Ukraine not only in words but also in real steps. I am grateful to Prime Minister Eduard Heger and all the Slovak people for the necessary military assistance, as well as the warm welcome of our people," Zelenskyy said.
"I can confirm that at the request of Ukraine for assistance and self-defense, according to Article 51 of the UN Charter, as a direct consequence of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the Slovak Republic provided Ukraine with the S-300 air defense system," he said.
