More than 400 people are missing in Hostomel liberated from russians in Kyiv region

More than 400 people have gone missing in 35 days of occupation in Hostomel

The head of the Hostomel settlement military administration Taras Dumenko told about it on Hromadske Radio.

According to the leader, eyewitness accounts show that some were killed, but the whereabouts are still unknown.

"We know about the people who were killed. There are confirmations, photos, and videos, but we still can't find them. When there was a connection, eyewitnesses were able to tell us this information, and now we still can't find them.

The source of the information managed to escape," Dumenko stressed.

It is noted that the russians kidnapped one doctor's husband and son in Hostomel, and they still cannot find them. They are also looking for the body of the head of the fire department of the Hostomel Airport.

In Hostomel, russian troops killed the village head, Yurii Prilipko, and killed volunteers Ruslan Karpenko and Ivan Zoria, whose bodies were found.

Dumenko believes that the Russians "cleaned up the traces of their atrocities."

"You could move in the direction of Hostomel and along the road, there were shot cars with bodies, including children. And you could go back, and these bodies were gone.

My hypothesis is that the calmer the occupiers felt in an area, the farther they were from the front line, the more carefully they covered their tracks," said the head of the administration.

Today the community has about 5,000 residents.

To recap, on April 2 the entire Kyiv region was liberated from russians.

It was then that a mass grave was discovered in the town of Bucha, where almost 300 people were buried and dozens of bodies lay in the streets.

As of the morning of April 4, 330-340 Ukrainian civilians killed by russians in Bucha were buried.

On April 3, the Prosecutor General announced that 410 bodies of killed civilians had been removed from the territory of the Kyiv region, which had been liberated from the occupiers, for examination.
