Today more than 7,000 people were evacuated - Vereshchuk

On March 25, two humanitarian corridors were opened, evacuating 7,331 people.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk.

2,800 people went from Mariupol to Zaporizhia in their personal vehicles. Also, 4 thousand Mariupol residents were centrally evacuated from Berdiansk by buses. Currently, a convoy of buses is on its way to Zaporizhzhia.

Gasoline was delivered to Berdiansk, and Mariupol residents will be able to refuel their cars for free to get to Zaporizhzhia (Melitopolske Shosse, 87b). In addition, 80 tons of products, medicines, basic necessities, as well as flour for baking bread were brought to Berdiansk.

531 people were evacuated from Melitopol to Zaporizhzhia. Humanitarian aid was delivered to the city.

On March 26, Ukraine will agree on humanitarian corridors to Mariupol and settlements of Kyiv and Luhansk regions.

Iryna Vereshchuk addressed the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer regarding the opening of the organization's office in Rostov-on-Don:

"We have officially requested to receive lists of all our citizens who were forcibly deported from Mariupol to the Russian Federation and to ensure their safe return to Ukraine. I will inform you about the results of such an appeal later."
